partner wanted to do a gamejam and i said “sure ill learn pixel art and do all of the sprites and assets and world“ like a fool. we didnt end up making a game but i did a LOT of work, and i learned a ton!!
my very first dive into pixel art. figuring out scale, and character design at such a limited level
building out the main character concepts!! each visual aspect in each variation has a lot of thought behind it that i wont bore you with here (besides the cowboy. that one was in a post midnight fugue state)
environment and character work!! we called it quits here cause we got tired of the grind LOL but it was really really good practice

my dear beastie zetta! spores druid (flavored as a beehive in her torso), at the beginning of her adventure when she was amnesia-ed up
zettas gruesome dagger, her magical weapon which Hides In Her Body
about 3/4 of the way thru thr campaign, zetta lost the lower half of her body and became half warforged! she also got a cape
her robe of eyes, which was subsequently stolen in the night after our dm decided it was too powerful with her 25 perception 🙄
my silly little edgy tiefling rogue/warlock, ina!! shes got a jersey accent and a heart full of hate and shes so whiny and i love her.
my first long campaign dnd character, sir genevieve! lesbian disaster, ancestral barbarian but politely
the entire high council of mages from my home campaign! their names are wack on purpose because their egos got so inflated they needed the titles to show off
